Leadership in Migration Initiative
Promoting Bold Leadership to Shape the Future of Migration
The Leadership in Migration Initiative (LMI), a joint program of the Fletcher School at Tufts University and the Robert Bosch Stiftung, identifies and cultivates leaders who approach migration with empathy, strategic vision, and a commitment to inclusive solutions. Recognizing that migration is both a deeply human experience and a complex global challenge, LMI promotes bold, compassionate leadership rooted in human rights.
Through research, public events, and an innovative online course, the initiative equips leaders across sectors, including government, civil society, multilateral organizations, and the private sector, with the skills to navigate uncertainty, build coalitions, influence policy, and implement effective solutions. By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices from around the world, LMI empowers a new generation of leaders to address migration challenges.
